Domaine des Chezeaux起源於1928年，由Mercier家族在Gevrey Chambertin成立，包含頂尖的Chambertin，也持有其他像是Griotte Chambertin, Clos Saint Denis, Les Charmes, Laveaux Saint Jacques, Les Cazetiers等優質的葡萄園。如今所持有的葡萄園都租給其他酒莊，如Chambertin, Clos St. Denis和57%的Griotte Chambertin就租給了Domaine Ponsot，餘下的葡萄園則由Domaine Berthaut in Fixin和Domaine Rene Leclerc租下。酒莊在1982年收購了兩個區塊Chambertin特級園，隨即便與Domaine Ponsot達成協議，這兩個區塊都交給他管理釀造葡萄酒，生產裝瓶後交付一部分給Domaine des Chezeaux貼標上市，餘下約一半到三分之二的酒則以Domaine Ponsot Chambertin出售，因此除了標籤品牌不同外，基本上Domaine Ponost和Domaine des Chezeaux是一樣的酒款。在較新的年份甚至可以在Domaine des Chezeaux 酒款的瓶底發現Domaine Ponsot的字樣。
